Jesus Swag Bag

This design was created from Ezekiel’s prophecy in chapter 37. He prophesied some time about 592 -570 BC. There are a few interpretations of the prophesy, but the shirt was designed based on the description of the field of dry bones as a picture of Israel being disbursed about the nations (field of dry bones to equal Israel as a dead nation). The shirt design reflects this with the shape of Israel covered with skeletal remains. In the prophesy the Lord tells Ezekiel to prophesy over the field of dry bones to make flesh come upon them and to put breath in them (to live again). For our design this portion of the prophesy is interpreted as a picture of the nation of Israel being miraculously restored by the Lord (fulfilled in 1948). To reflect this the Jewish star of David which is the flag for Israel was placed over top of the bones that make up the shape of Israel. Everywhere the star overlaps the dry bDeones they have flesh/are made whole to represent the nation being formed again (coming alive) when the new nation of Israel flew their flag with the star. The verses from Ezekiel’s prophesy are 37:5 & 6.
