This design was created from Ezekiel’s prophecy in chapter 37. He prophesied some time about 592 -570 BC. There are a few interpretations of the prophesy, but the shirt was designed based on the description of the field of dry bones as a picture of Israel being disbursed about the nations (field of dry bones to equal Israel as a dead nation). The shirt design reflects this with the shape of Israel covered with skeletal remains. In the prophesy the Lord tells Ezekiel to prophesy over the field of dry bones to make flesh come upon them and to put breath in them (to live again). For our design this portion of the prophesy is interpreted as a picture of the nation of Israel being miraculously restored by the Lord (fulfilled in 1948). To reflect this the Jewish star of David which is the flag for Israel was placed over top of the bones that make up the shape of Israel. Everywhere the star overlaps the dry bDeones they have flesh/are made whole to represent the nation being formed again (coming alive) when the new nation of Israel flew their flag with the star. The verses from Ezekiel’s prophesy are 37:5 & 6.
The “#JesusSwag” was designed by a former partner in Sozo Apparel. This was the only design that was printed with my previous partners. Whenever I wore the shirt I was questioned as to the meaning of “Jesus Swag”, so after praying about how to answer this, the Lord gave me the fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22 Love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, so I added this scripture to the back of the shirt as a definition if you will. The addition of the scripture falls in line with one of the original intentions to make sure every shirt has a scripture printed on it.
Hear Him is a quote from Matthew 17:5 and Luke 9:35 of God instructing us to listen to His Son. The three crowns are a representation of the second person of the Godhead (first gold crown) stepping down out of heaven to become flesh (God wrapped in a human body) and suffer to pay the price for humanity (second crown of thorns) then returning to heaven after being raised from the dead to sit at the right hand of God (the third gold crown).
