I believe this design was truly inspired by Holy Spirit. I was praying to God about the designs that we had already created and asking Him to give me a design that demonstrated His love for us and this design was the result of that prayer. This design is a perfect representation/picture of what Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) did at the cross to show how much He loves mankind. The word Tetelestai is a Koine Greek word that can mean and most commonly translated as โIt is finished!โ in most Bibles. The word Tetelestai can also be translated โPaid in full!โ and was found to be written on receipts from the era when Jesus had his earthly ministry.

This design came from a sermon that was preached by Cyndy Carpenter at Charis Christian Church wherein she told a story about a house siding door-to-door salesman that stopped by her house. After a long period of time trying to convince her that she needed to purchase siding for her house she finally was blunt with him, she said โI do not like the looks of the siding, I think it is uglyโ. His response was โYour opinion does not matter, because the siding will be beneficial to your house in many waysโ. After he left the Lord spoke to her to let her know that when it comes to biblical truths her opinion really does not matter โ only the written word of God mattered. The scripture he impressed on her heart for this was Isaiah 55:8 for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My waysโฆ; which is the verse printed on the shirt.
